Integration Vessels

A temporary refuge in the prairie, this project creates a
small retreat site for a local NGO in Calgary that supports the settlement of
immigrants and refugees in the city. The primary function of the project is to
direct the integration of the organisation’s clientele into both the culture
and landscape of Calgary, as well as Canada. While the primary function is for
the site to be used by refugees, the intent is that the site allows for a range
of people to visit and create a space that fosters cross-cultural understanding
and learning.
